Parker first produced bottled ink to its own recipe in 1931. It was patented and registered under the name Quink. Since then the ink has been continually improved, and today it is considered one of the best on the market. In terms of value for money it ranks among the top ten ink brands in the world. Parker makes two kinds of quick-drying ink: washable and permanent. Parker ink is a special formula that ensures reliable performance and a smooth writing experience. That is why Parker recommends using only Quink ink in Parker pens for the best results. Low-quality, unbranded inks often clog or dry out the fine feed channels of the pen. Cleaning often doesn't help, the pen skips, and the manufacturer's warranty no longer applies. With original Parker ink, it is recommended to rinse the nib section under cold water (never hot) every two to three converter fills. The feed can also be soaked for 15 minutes in an ink-cleaning solution (we recommend Rotring cleaning solution) and then rinsed under cold running water. Parker offers this ink in five colours, in 57 ml glass bottles packed in a cardboard box (see the packaging photo). Made in France.
